From little conkers.......

.......mighty horse chestnut trees grow.

I brought a little conker back from Naburn in April this year. ( Blip 2nd April)
It started to grow two leaves ( blip 23rd May)
Now it has several leaves and is thriving. I am quite surprised how much it has grown in just 7 months.

Another warm day.
Spent the afternoon in my outdoor gym. The garden! Certainly a good 3 hour workout.
I have cut back some climbing roses, and the buddleia. Also cut back some perennials and generally tidied up. Still more to do and haven’t planted the bulbs yet.
The brown bin is now full to overflowing. Fortunately will be emptied on Thursday.
