...of our day in Winchester...
The main is Antony Gormley's wonderful Sound ll sculpture, which is in the crypt of the Cathedral.
The extras include Jane Austen's burial place, and the round table from the Great Hall.
They were "voicing" the organ while we were there too - it sort of evens up the output from the pipes, rather than tuning the notes ..
We also wandered up to the University, where Roy remembered some of the old buildings from his time there. We even found #16 Edgar Road, which was his student accommodation for two of his three years.
We finished off with a tasty meal at Cote before we got a taxi back to Littleton. Rush hour traffic was awful, so it was worth every penny ;)
I think all of my blips today show some classic angles and shapes!
