Damp Dog
Not deterred by rain,
strides forth regardless. Squirrels..
watch out. Birds also.
Very wet here. But we slept well, so you can't have it all! Dropped Ben at school and took Leo for a wet stomp. He was a happy chappy. He met a sort of large fluffy, beige chihuahua called Peanut. Dogs' names can be so much fun! She wasn't the friendly sort though, owner picked her up before the yapping turned into something more snappy. Other than that, I saw some interesting mushrooms, might attempt an 'extra' for you. I came home for more meeting prep and some other chasing emails. I tried to read my book a bit but I felt guilty and Leo took offence at a guy in a hi vis jacket, in a cherry picker on the other side of our fence, so it got a bit noisy for a while.
The meeting was good I think. I wasn't sure if we'd meet the threshold for their continuing care support but it sounded like we might have, from the meeting. I'm so grateful to have so many supportive professionals around us now, we had two people from social care, the safeguarding lead from school and the diabetes nurse on this one and they all know Ben so well, it makes it easier to provide evidence of his need.
Rushed to fetch Ben and he was initially reluctant to get in the car but he managed in the end. At home it's been little household jobs and getting tea and soon bath time and bed. Mr KCNQ2Haiku is home later and it sounds like his meeting has been OK, so well done him :-)
Happy Wednesday all!
