Not Portobello Beach Edinburgh

Four hours by train from Geneva and we arrive here in at Zermatt at the foot of The Matterhorn : 4478 metres high. My blip is taken from the balcony of the hotel. It is a cliched tourist blip but sometimes they warrant an outing! The temperature has been 25 degrees and lots of clear air blue sky to go with it. Cars are banned from Zermatt. The few vehicles that circulate through this small high Alpine town are all electric and vary in size between small golf buggy and modified milk floats. The weather is settled again tomorrow so we look forward to some stunning views and high level walks.
