Another tree

Car MOT day,
the mechanic was surprised 
it passed. Big relief.

Well, the first comment has to be regarding Ben's decision to wake up at 2:45am today.  Honestly.  What can you do?  I cajoled and encouraged him until 4:30am and then I gave up, desperate for some sleep and gave him his iPad.  He stayed awake the entire morning, just a minor doze in the car to school.  He's a machine.  Either than or his meds are causing some trouble.  I'll be watching that side effect closely.  His blood sugars have been really high today too, I've changed his pump site but I'm wondering if the tiredness can cause dodgy blood sugars??  Might be one to ask his diabetes team.  Other than that I've been busy chasing around after the car today.  Dropped Ben at school and then picked up the dog to drop the car at the garage.  We then walked home via a 'dogs on lead' garden which is very pretty and I liked this tree.  Leo was more interested in the squirrels it was giving shelter to.  At home I made some salad, dealt with some emails and some school, food tech carb counting issues.  I had a phone catch up with my mum and then the garage called and delivered the following message with a not inconsiderable tone of surprise, 'well, it's passed again!'  Made me laugh but also, phew and thank goodness!
Mr KCNQ2Haiku's mum came for a cup of tea and then I fetched Ben, he was very good getting in the car, put his foot in the door to stop it shutting for a few mins but other than that, brilliant.  We're definitely having some easier days with the car journeys.  Although to be fair he must be so tired, there's no energy to be difficult!  
Thursday already.  Feels like a week that's been half long and half short :-/
