Revisiting old memories

Cambridge University Library is holding an exhibition of items from the TV series Spitting Image. It was far smaller than I expected but the star was there, unfortunately she was still safely behind bullet proof glass.

Spitting Image was broadcast from the mid 1980's and totally ridiculed politicians, the royal family, celebrities, sportsmen and anyone else in the public eye. The Queen reading the Socialist worker wearing a CND badge, the Queen Mother with the Racing Post and a large gin, politicians wearing leather jackets, or with hair styled by Mr. Whippy, one totally grey and another coming out of the pocket of another politician and many other repeat gags.
