The seaside

Moving day - and we headed south to the bottom corner of Slovenia where they have a tiny bit of coast. This area borders Italy to the north and Croatia to the south.
We found a good stopping place in Izola, with less than a minutes walk to the ‘beach’. There are no actual beaches just concrete walls a tiny strip of pebbles - then the sea. It’s nicer than I’ve described it and we were straight in for a swim. And to be honest it was quite good not having any sand to contend with.
We had a nice cycle and explore of the town and harbour in the afternoon. And then pizza for dinner.
