Butterfly drinking

Walking on NC State's campus, I found this butterfly (what species?) busy drinking from this cone flower (of the Asteraceae family). It's a pretty hot day (about 93F) with high humidity, and the plants are giving off that sweet smell they produce when it's so hot and humid. Must be a butterfly paradise. Definitely a good sign that summer is fully here!
