Nerines update

It's  been another warm and sunny day, once the early mist cleared. This morning I cycled into Winchester for a few things. I found a lovely pair of earrings, containing real forget- me -not flowers, which I bought as an early  birthday present for my sister, who is returning to Australia on Friday.
This  afternoon, I cycled into  town again  to visit my Mother, who seemed pleased to see me.
This evening there was a Zoom  meeting for members of our London Livery Company to meet our new Master. Actually, we know her  well already, but I was very impressed to discover more about early life and career. (The top position in  the  Company is known as Master whether male or female). Liz Shilling is the first Orthoptist  to hold the position of Master of a Livery Company, and I think it is most fitting she is  in the Spectacle  Makers Company. She  is Head Orthoptist at St Thomas's Hospital  and specialises in treating adult  patients who experience  double vision as a result of  trauma such as stroke or tumours.
My blip is of my Nerine flowers  which have  opened up since last  week in the sunshine.
