Rain & standing water

We've been quite lucky down here, in between the South West and the West Midlands, I'm never really sure which Gloucester is supposed to sit!
We've had a few days of dry, even very warm, weather but yesterday it turned cooler and today we had torrential rain. It was ok this morning, when I took F.M.i.L. to her day care but this afternoon the heavens opened and it just poured. On the way to pick her up it was quite torrential and there was a LOT of standing water on the roads, running down the sides, about 3 feet across, like a small river. By the time I got to the 'Club' it had eased off a bit so I just took a photo of the water standing outside.
Looks like tomorrow is going to be much better, and for most of next week until Thursday.
