After the rain

The hospital where Brett is a patient is only two blocks from one of the historic homes in Columbia. It was drizzly rain this morning while I was visiting him but it had stopped by the time I left.

So I had a walk to the house. There were still roses blooming which were full of raindrops. The moss on the north side brick wall was also full of drops. And a fountain was dropping water!


My son is feeling much better and was able to start a liquid diet. He was hungry after three days of no food. No decision made on the surgery yet but everything is looking good for it to be done soon.

My other son drove down from North Carolina to spend the day with him tomorrow. It was good to see him.
