Frost & Fire

Well we’ve succumbed, after a chilly night & frosty morning, not that we saw it lol, after a late night, gigging in Skegness, C decided the time was right to light the fire.

We’ve had the heating on once so far, but this is the first time lighting the wood burner.

C remembers lighting the fire at home as a boy, with the shovel & newspaper to create the vacuum effect to get the flames going…… this seemed somewhat easier……
let’s see how long it lasts !

The fan on top looks to be controlled via the plate underneath, heat operated we’re guessing, anyhow it’s currently whizzing around & the fire is still lit ;-)

Dinner is king prawns in lemon & garlic butter with some kind of rice :-) C is in charge today
