Not sure how much longer these will last, so it gets its chance to shine today.. we had a distinct frost this morning, although it didn't last long..

Whilst I was in Scotland, I managed a dip into cold water regularly, partly because there was accessable water close to everywhere I stayed & I'm on a mission to try & keep it up.. consequently today I walked a little way down the road & into the wood, where I have found I can  just about submerge myself in a couple of feet of water, in a stream running off the moors.. it surely was cold, though I described it rather differently at the time..! 5 mins seemed like ages too.. 

I managed to entertain one of my neighbours though, as they passed me walking down there in my dry robe & wellies.. a fine look, I'm sure..!! ( not cold enough for the bobble hat today though..!)
