Mother & Son Time

Rain stopped play in the garden this morning.

So it was into the garage for a spot of turning.
It was slightly more successful than I expected because I haven't actually done any for a while.

However, I got the plants I bought yesterday into the ground this afternoon - that is another couple of gaps filled for this year.

We arrived at Bags house to find her having a quiet time watching a film with the Cygnet while Squirrel had a nap.
I really should have the camera ready for when the Squirrel is brought down after her naps ..... the smile that she gives us is magnificent.

As it is Wednesday the Cygnet is staying with us.
He arrived - created mayhem - emptied a ream of copier paper so he could wear the packet as a hat - watched Ice Age 4 (that is the entire series I have seen now) - had his bath and went off to bed no problem at all.
Hopefully it will be another full night's sleep and not a case of getting up with the sun.

Oh - I forgot to mention ............ I got a discount voucher for a photobook as a prize today for a picture I entered into an international competition. Okay, I was in the lower level of the winners , but there were over 44,000 entries and it was a judging panel selection not one of these 'please vote for me' social media things -- and a prize is a prize
