The hounds of love

I’ve been thinking for a long time that that I’d like a dog, for the simple reason that we might be good for each other. I’d like that dog to be a rescue greyhound. I hear that they make great family pets, but that former racing dogs need a lot of socialisation. They are used to living in kennels, not houses and they might not know how to climb stairs.They need love and affection and they need to feel secure. I’ve been reading up about it today, and I’ve learned a lot. It is something I would like to do, but it’s a big decision and the key thing is to make the right decision.
