Just enough room

G had an appointment for the flu jag today, and the pharmacist kindly gave me mine as well because I did have an appointment booked, but not until Nov. 7. She also gave us both the covid jag even though we weren't eligible for the invitation to get those until Oct. 24. Great that they had enough vaccines! The advantage of living in a smaller place and having good relationships. Both of us got the two jags in our left arms, just a bit of soreness so far. We haven't had any reactions to any of the previous jags, so I'm not expecting any to these.
We had a call from Hydro last night about a power outage this morning from 8 am until noon. We were up early to shower then headed to town for the vaccine appointment and to pick up groceries. Plenty of time to enjoy breakfast at the Tree House too and to get a photo in the harbour.  We drove home just after noon and the Hydro flaggers were on the road, so we asked one if it was going to be long before power was restored. He said that they only had one more tree to go so it shouldn't be long. I guess they were cutting down trees that could come down on the lines. Great idea to prevent future outages rather than having to deal with trees that do come down on lines.
