Day two - A Stop along the way

We headed out from McCloud, OR and stopped at the Chocolate Nugget Candy Factory in Washoe Valley, Nevada. We saw "chocolate" and had to stop! :-) They make wonderful candy of all kinds. This picture is outside the store. It is a trubute to the prospector Jack Longstreet. 1838 to 1928. He was the last of the desert frontiersmen. It's hard to tell, but he is holding a large rock. Just a very nice carving. Dad and his girls are standing by the old tractor. After a flat tire on the very first day, we are going along smoothly. We make stops along the way to stretch our legs and see the sites.
