Scenes from Virginia City, Nevada

Day 3 of our adventure to New Mexico. A stop in Virginia City. Like going back in time, the 1800's, to the "Old West". Such a fun place to visit. We started with a wonderful lunch in a newly opened and restored restaurant (anniescottage) tells about it. Then on to enjoy the city. The top view is a downtown scene, then a painting of the beautiful old church and Parish School. I didn't get a good shot of them so used this painting. Lower two - hubby and Annie by an old tour car, then Annie, Mom and Deb "waiting for the train". The other people are "dummies". :-) Most of the people in the stores are dressed in the authentic 1800 clothes. It was a very fun day. Then time to go down the hill and get headed out again. Forward and onward!!
