At the huge TECA complex in Aberdeen for the 89th SNP National Conference, which is also my 40th (I think !).
It was opened differently from all the others, however, with an emergency debate on the situation in Gaza, the personal cost of which was movingly brought home to all of us by Humza Yusaf, and especially in the contribution made by his wife Nadia El-Nakla who is an SNP Councillor in Dundee and whose family is in Gaza inlacing her parents who were visiting when the conflict flared up again .
After that Conference was welcomed to Aberdeen by the Westminster Leader, Stephen Flynn, who is an Aberdeen MP.
