Hellebore

It's approaching that time of year again!  When I was young there were two sorts of Hellebore the "Christmas Rose" and The "lenten Rose".  Also to misquote Henry Ford from his autobiography "Any colour the customer wants so long as its black white".  Now Hellebore seem to have varieties that flower at most times of the year and are in various shades of colour.

Our usual garden centre with Kanyl.  As winter draws on the flowers become scarcer, still masses of cyclamen both indoor and outdoor.  The Hellebores provide a welcome change.
