Some very heavy rain on the early morning spaniel walk. The woods were resounding with the barking of deer as the rutting season gets going. Most of the fungi I saw had taken a beating from rain yesterday and overnight so were quite soggy. This Rosy Bonnet (Mycena rosa) was protected under a big beech tree.
