Autumn Trees.

What a miserable day. Wildly tossing trees and pretty well continual rain. I phoned Veda to have a chat and arrange to meet next week, We had an amber Met Office warning, then a power cut and warnings that there might be more. There was a brief period when the rain stopped and I went to the Pillars for milk and a couple of other things. Drove further along the Kilgour road for a blip as the chestnut trees had coloured nicely. Back home to lie reading on the sofa. I didn't sleep well last night so nodded off after a while. We seem to be in for more of the same tomorrow. If so I intend to be completely miserable and clean the house from top to bottom..
