Planned to take the bus to Poole and wander around. At the bus station there, spotted an X8 to Blandford Forum, only 40 minutes away, so impromptu decision to go there instead. Pleasant ride on the upper deck with some nice countryside views.

Walked around. Been there a couple of times before. Coffee, and then before leaving had a drink at 'The Crown' ("A historic Dorset Georgian coaching inn. Steeped in history it was one of 21 stops for fresh horses on the Trafalgar Way – the route that carried news of the Battle of Trafalgar from Falmouth to London the Crown is a wonderful example of a charming Dorset coaching inn)."

Fancied an Indian before going home, so stopped off in Westbourne for a curry.
