That sinking feeling

Drove to Wareham market for radicchio, and coffee at The Goat (10/10). Found my (Silly) Saturday blip, a woman sitting on a bench with her black cat. The river had burst its banks and the bench was in a few inches of water.

I called out to her in case she wasn't aware, but she was totally un-fazed. I asked a stallholder who said she sits there every Saturday.

Then to a nearby holiday park (mobile homes) where 'A' and family were staying for the weekend. Accompanied them to a Halloween event there for kids. Gorgeous sunny day (after a grey start), at one point reaching 21C. Took our leave late afternoon.

Watched the second half of Bournemouth v Arsenal. We played brilliantly breaking Arsenal's no loss matches this season, 2-0. Then the icing on the cake seeing sinner beat Alcazar in an exciting match, to win US$6 million, in Riyadh.

Too much excitement for one day, so off to bed now
