Empty and full

Woke to rain downpour.  Hound doesn't like rain, he literally gets wet in seconds and even with a coat his head still gets wet.  Gave up on morning walk and hound eventually had to accept he had to relieve himself in the garden. 

Donned waterproofs and cycled to the market.  The bread, cheese and one fruit/vegetable stall were available thankfully.  And I did thank them for coming out in the awful weather.

By contrast the river was full and rising this morning.  It was creeping up the right bank.

At 4.45pm finally had a dog walk in dry weather. 

Made veggie stirfry for dinner.

Now going to relax inside.
