Not all Growth is Good

Garden flowers may be undergoing a surge of growth but so is everything else. These hollyhock style plants (tree mallow?) line the edges of the lane next to my house and in some cases are over 6ft high. I have no objection to their presence in the lane but their seed inevitably reach my garden and being "flowers in the wrong place" become weeds.
I overcame the narrow depth of field of the macro lens by focus stacking.
