Made a break for it

Late afternoon we had a slight dip in the bad weather and I took the opportunity for a quick walk. The wind has definitely eased as evening progressed but the rain is well and truly back on. 'A' has managed to get back from.Milan via Heathrow. He was on the last flight to Edinburgh and due to a delay only landed about Midnight.
Went for a pub meal with my friend this evening. Impromptu and good catch up.
