Hands-on

No.1 dropped off at school for the day and No.2 for six hours' companionship - and superb sunny weather. So it was a father-and-son day together in town: on and off five buses, trying out keyboards in the music shop, exploring the museum, picnic lunch in Princes Street Gardens and a big walk through Holyrood Park taking in two lochs and meeting a family of swans with their eight cute cygnets.

He'll sleep well tonight. So will Daddy!
