Farm stay

We pitched up last night at a farm in rural Austria. Not just a random farm - one that takes in stray campervans travelling by (for a price). We arrived in the dark so were keen to see the view when we woke up. The farm is just below a village and perched on the valley side with lovely views across the mountains.
Mr Farmer was busy out with the cows (red friesians and Jerseys), Mrs Farmer was busy with their toddler and baby, whilst harvesting some delicious looking veg from the garden. They were lovely and friendly and gave us some suggestions for places to visit- always worth getting the tips from the locals!
We drove on a bit and had a cycle round a lake. It was quite a holiday area with lots of campsites and hotels along the shore - but all quiet now with the season ended.
We ended the day parked up on the outskirts of Salzburg ready for some city touring tomorrow.
