Lots of weather

This is a view South from Lantern Pike a hill near Hayfield in Derbyshire which provides great views of the surrounding hills.

Looking east there is a wide panorama of Kinder Scout but all of that mountain was under cloud today.

So today's shot is towards the Goyt valley and Cheshire hills near Macclesfield. The clouds were rolling by fairly slowly and I thought we would manage the walk before the forecast heavy rain I was wrong the last 5 minutes of the walk was in a downpour - no waterproofs= soaked!

The bog cotton was all over the western side of the hill
