Yummy in exchange for money

Oscar and Bailee designed their own money boxes so we began a new rewards scheme whereby Bailee and Oscar earn half a dirham (9 pence/17 NZ cents), for kind behaviour. They had saved up enough for an ice-cream over the past week and I decided to take them before our swim. Of course the shop only had the least child-friendly ice creams available, but I simply couldn't deny them! The looks of pride on their faces as they handed the shop attendant their jingling money boxes. I felt a bit sorry for them as the attendant could have made a teeny bit of fuss instead of talking on the phone the whole time! It didn't take away from the pleasure of eating the ice-creams, mind.
