Dubai is such a diverse part of the UAE. There are people from all over the world and many different cultures. It is a fascinating place to live. I had to snap up "The Khaleeji family" when we spotted it in the Early Learning Centre. Oscar and Bailee are used to men in their traditional dishdash and women in their abayas and I thought they would be a good keepsake for them when we eventually move back to NZ!

I was going to write about the ins and outs of traditional Emirati dress but Maple is teething and needs me now!
