Wild and free

Taking a walk around the garden this afternoon, I noticed that this wild rose has produced blooms. Quietly, unobtrusively, there they are, with no special care, no mulching, pruning or spraying against blackspot - just wild and growing through shrubs and over the garage roof.
Simply beautiful - and rose hips later in the year!
