Something to do with marshmallows . . .

. . . no idea what they were doing but it seemed to cause a lot of laughter. 

Today dawned sunny, bright and still. It was as if the storms of yesterday had never happened. And we had visitors - both daughters arrived and three girls. We tasted some great bread that Joanne had made on a workshop yesterday. Then we walked the few minutes along the prom to the Lazy Shack and lunch on the beach. Amazing that we were able to sit outside in the sunshine. 

After lunch the girls suddenly went off down to the sea - extra  - compare the sea with yesterday's. More paddling and general messing around on the beach on the way back for cake. 

Now we are left with two girls who are staying the night. They have gone off with Grandad for another walk by the sea in the last of the evening sunshine.
