Against the wall

The yellow flowers of this Rose of Sharon shone against the wall all the summer, but we are left with the black berries, attractive in their own right.
We have seen all the pictures of the floods and feel for all those who have suffered, while we in the south have had another fine day. N was out on the golf course.
