Camera shy

Hung the curtains in 'living' end of the kitchen this morning - they make the room seem much cosier.

We wanted to go for a walk this evening, and as the light fades quite early now we set off soon after MrM got back from work. We also needed a couple of essentials, so decided to head for Holmfirth via a scenic route, past the allotments and along the ridge before dropping down steeply into town. We passed these lovely sheep (Ryelands, possibly) along the way, unfortunately they were all camera-shy. They were in a field with a ram in his raddle harness; poor chap was well away from the ewes and looked exhausted!

Once we'd picked up the shopping MrM suggested a drink in one of the many hostelries. By then, most of them were full to the gunnels, and we ended up at the Ship, where one drink turned into two. Very pleasant, but after two glasses of wine the hill seemed like Everest on the way back. Too late by then to cook the planned meal, on the way we bought a pizza to pop in the oven as soon as we were home.
