A pared pair

Very chilly morning walk round the stream but at least it was refreshing! Took Phin over to Newbattle later in the morning and was lucky to secure the last parking place. Bizarrely we only net one other dog when walking so I have no idea where all the others were!

Made a version of chicken noodle soup with lots of leftovers and some fresh bean sprouts for lunch. It was rather tasty.

Ran the hoover round when Mr PHL took Phin out this afternoon as Miss PHL and her flatmate were coming round to borrow my Halloween decorations. They’re having a party on Saturday night. Chicken and chorizo paella was cooked whilst Katy rummaged in the loft. I didn’t remember having quite so many decorations but they were pleased to take them away.

When they left they also took some of my miniature spirits stash and a couple of bottles of spirits that have been at the back of the cupboard for a very long time.
