Success!

A couple of years ago I purchased a Miltonia from a garden centre price reduced display.  An orchid, finished flowering and very cheap, to see if I could revive it.   An orchid grower friend said these are more tricky than the Phaleanopsis that I have grown and flowered before so I am very happy to see three new flowers on a new shoot that appeared from the base several months ago.  The central markings remind me of a pansy flower.

An uneventful, if long, drive home.  I'm tired but it was a nice weekend away.  Good to see friends old and new yesterday.  I should get away more often!
