Mother

I didn’t intend for this to be a blip pic but I took very few pics today. Mum as we waited for the taxi home after her eye check up. The drops to dilate her pupils leave her very sensitive to light so the sunglasses came out. The sun didn’t!

Thankfully no change in mums very limited vision. We’re seeking a hearing assessment as that’s deteriorated. Must be terribly isolating not seeing or hearing well. Mum bears all with stoicism.

The rest of the day was mostly organising stuff. A new microwave after I looked inside the old one. Never seen the inside of a microwave peel away before … it was also burnt in places!! Ruth and Mum had more quality time together and mum made light work of home cooked food again :-)

Ruth and I were back in Brum by 11pm. I’m hoping to be home for the evening pottery session tomorrow … which is now today as I type.

A cheeky extra on the theme of mothers that made me smile today :-)
