Capturing my Journey

Frosty

Frosty cold start to the day. You can see the shapes of the 2 new beds we are creating. We had our online dungeons and dragons game in the morning. Then we went to gather some hay for my herb and strawberry patch to help protect them from the cold winter. As we were drawing up to the bales I noticed that Ruby (our truck) was making a clicking noise from the front left wheel. Turns out it was loosening and as husband tightened it the stud sheered off. So once we got the hay we limped the truck home and have ordered some replacement studs and also some better wheel nuts the fancy chrome coated ones are useless. They seem to be between sizes. We've never had stud issues in the UK but noticed its a lot more common here wondering if it's the temperatures weakening the metal.

Anyway her patch has been covered and a bit more garden tidy up has happened before we headed in for homemade pizza and some relaxing!
