Town Closed. Rain!

It rained most of the morning in Santa Margherita Ligure. When it let up we went out into the fresh air to explore, but it seems almost nobody else did.
The streets were empty, the sidewalk cafes were empty, the piazzas were empty and their benches unused, and the children’s coin rides sat idle.
Later we went to the Botanic Garden. It was closed. The restaurant we discovered yesterday was closed today. It seems like most people here don’t do RAIN.
