Flying over the Matukituki Valley …..

….. ….. ….. with Mt Aspiring in the distance. There’s plenty of rock & stone there for the Wide Wednesday challenge!

I flew up to Auckland today, and am staying with #2 son and my daughter-in-law, while spending time with them and #3 son who’s been coping with many challenges lately.
We’ve had a lovely time together and I’m very heartened about how my youngest son is now managing solutions. I’m proud of him.

It was super seeing Aspiring in the distance and remembering finally getting to the top on my 3rd attempt. I used to love doing that sort of mountaineering. Not these days!
