Too windy …..

….. ….. ….. or too hot/cold? Either way Missy was content to wait for me, under cover, at the top of Tobins Track this morning. The wind certainly had a chilly bite to it.

I had an annual eye check this afternoon - good enough result - before taking off into Queenstown to purchase a roasted lamb dinner at Pedro’s, for a family dinner at my daughter & son-in-law’s this evening. Hazel & Cora were there, keen to show off their latest gymnastic moves - those girls are so energetic and full of life. I don’t get to see them nearly enough. My younger granddaughter from this family is down for the holiday weekend from Auckland - super to catch up with her. We were planning a walk around Lake Hayes but there’s snow forecast for the next two days. Surely ‘they’ haven’t got that right! That’s ridiculous but time will tell if ridiculous happens!
