Misty Autumnness
When I drew back the curtains this morning we had sunshine, but out of the side window Tony spotted the mist rolling along the course of the Beck through the village. The sun seemed to be glancing off the autumn colours in the tree tops, very pretty.
After breakfast I was away to A's house. She is in recovery from Covid and has been wanting to have a go at the Couch25k, so today was Week1 Run 1. It's a very well thought out development from the couch in to running 5k (obviously derrr!) and today we were walking briskly for 90 seconds then running gently for 60 seconds x 7. With stretches and warm up/cool down it took us 27 minutes and was a good introduction, so much so A has booked me in for 7.45 tomorrow!
The remainder of the morning has been spent cleaning and filling the bird feeder storage bins and some of the feeders which were in need, and cleaning out the birdbath. All necessary jobs but not particularly pleasant.
