Walking Home

It was out early for a torture Fitness Session with a PB on the rowing machine!  That won't happen again!

Cuppas on my return then it was in the oven with a couple of fruit cakes (the fruit cakes not me!) and lunch on.  After lunch I put a loaf in the bread maker (well the ingredients for a loaf) before we drove down to the garden centre for some coarse grit.  This is now in the flowerpots to discourage the squirrels for digging in them/storing nuts and destroying the plants.  Let's see if that works.

I wanted to walk to the garden centre but Tony wisely suggested I would not be able to carry a bag of coarse grit home, which brought to mind the time I took the bus into Bradford and went to Argos to order a set of weights.  The guy took a long look at me and asked if I had my car with me.  As I began to explain that, no I was on the bus, his eyebrows went higher up his head and I heard what I was saying....That was an expensive taxi ride home.

So, I had half a walk.  After loading the grit into the boot I walked back via the football field and the lower part of St Ives Estate.  The autumn colours were accentuated by the mist which has hung low all day.

PS Just paid my Blipfoto fees for another year, best value ever!
