Rosslyn Chapel…

… I have wanted to visit this place for years decades. (Long before Dan Brown made it famous). The outside doesn’t begin to convey the wonders inside.
We had a fabulous visit (the staff there were beyond helpful). Inside, the stonemasonry is magnificent. (There is no wood in the fabric of the building, just stone. Though they did employ carpenters apparently. I wonder why?).
Such an interesting place.
Do I buy into the mysteries of it? (Despite the Da Vinci Code).
Well, who wouldn’t on a misty day near a fairy glen?

(The colours of the trees in the glen are simply magnificent in Autumn, even on a foggy day like today).
