Sammy Exploring Sandness
A cloudy morning, but wasn't long before it cleared into a sunny day. Calm all day, calm and clear tonight.
Day off and up early. Headed into Lerwick for new tyres, ready for winter. Nipped down to Laura's for a cuppa. Mam popped by for lunch. Nipped along Madeline's after lunch. Headed out for a run with Sammy in the afternoon. This evening I've been down at mam's. We've been busy scanning old family photos, Laura helped out too. Another walk, then feet up for the night.
Perfect day for a day off and had to spend as much time as possible outside. Always great to get somewhere different for a walk, Sammy enjoys the scents he picks up, he also got a blast off the lead at Melby Beach. Sammy enjoying a sniff around this old croft house, which looks to he abandoned as a home, but currently used as a byre. Possibly named Garalins, next to the Sandness school, Sandness.
