Waiting at da Crane Store
A beautiful sunny day, calm and warm, much the same tonight, but dark.
Up early, last essykert shift of the week. Another day working with Philip and young Steven. Around the town collecting business waste, then residential black bag waste in Sound. Washed the essykert inside and out, ready for another week. Walkies with Sammy after work. Nipped down to the road this evening, last walkies, then early to bed.
After a week of gales, it was strange to have such a peaceful day, no howling in the lugs. It wasn't long into the shift, when the jacket and jumper came off, fairly warmed up chucking bin bags into the essykert. It was warm in the sunshine, still nippy in the shade. A nice colourful view after break, just before setting off again. Taken at the tea hut at the crane store, Esplanade, Lerwick.
