What is it?

Is it whipped cream? Or maybe a cloud? I’ve been staring at it for most of the morning. I often touch it, running my hands through it. Have you guessed? No? It’s Newt’s furry white tummy :) • MrsP and I are experiencing minor effects from our covid shots yesterday afternoon. Definitely sore arms and a bit achy. MrsP is currently taking a nap but it’s hard to tell if she’s exhausted by the jab or from the lack of sleep last night • Just as we were headed to bed we saw the alert for multiple shootings happening in Lewiston, about 32 miles to our west. We turned on the tv to learn more about the horrific tragedy unfolding in real time. A lone gunman killed 18 people and injured 13 at two separate businesses: a bowling alley and tavern. 19 hours later he’s still on the loose. We’ve remained home and in the house out of extreme caution • I don’t really know what to say right now except he needs to be apprehended. I do have full confidence in our law enforcement agencies: local, county, state and federal • Keep those directly impacted and our wonderful state in your thoughts today.
