A tree across the street • The suspect in Wednesday evening’s mass shooting in Lewiston, Maine, has not yet been apprehended. Police are following up on tips, searching the Androscoggin and Kennebec rivers, and conducting search warrants. Today we heard a helicopter west of us but have no idea if it’s related. It seemed to be flying low and circling a small area. The community can’t really move on until he’s captured • After spending yesterday indoors, we ventured outdoors today, enjoying the unusual warmth, the colorful trees, all with a watchful eye.
